DJ Lifestyle
Its no secret, becoming a DJ can bring you a great DJ lifestyle. Most new DJs want to learn how to DJ so that they can get girls, get paid to party and share the music they love. This all does happen being a DJ but theres more to the DJ lifestyle than that. This section has all of your dj culture & dj lifestyle needs covered!
This video of Kaskade on tour in Brazil really catptures the lifestyle of a professional DJ. Sweet hotels, constant flights, huge parties every night, producing music here and there.
If this doesn’t get you fired up to learn how to DJ, I don’t know what will!
When I was learning how to dj there was nothing that got me more excited than watching a huge DJ rock it out to a huge dance floor of screaming fans. Standing beside, behind or in the DJ booth while a huge crowd freaked out over the DJ’s every move really inspired to become a DJ.
Even now, after I’ve been DJing for 10 year and have played tons of huge DJ gigs to thousands of people screaming their heads off, watching videos of the top DJs playing to huge crowds sends chills down my spine. Theres something about 1 man creating such a frenzy with a big crowd just by playing the music he loves that makes my heart sing!
I’m sure you are similar so I wanted to track down the best youtube videos taken from the DJ booths at some of the craziest and biggest parties in the world. You’ll see everything from a 100,000 person party in Buenos Aires, Argentina to an intimate party high up on a ski hill in the Swiss Alps Mountains.
So I set out to track down the top DJ booth videos online. If you have found a dj booth video that gets you fired up then please share it in the comments below! It would incredible if this page became a page that people passed around because it has all of the best, crazy DJ booth videos.
Here are the top 10 Dj booth videos:
# 10. Casual Ski Party In The Alps
This video is pretty chill. You aren’t going to see 50,000 DJ fans freaking out on the dancefloor. But what you will see is three of the best tech house DJs in the world (Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano and Loco Dice) mixing for a smaller crowd at the very top of a ski hill at the very top of the Alps (Crans-Montana Switzerland at 2300m). This dj video is awesome! To get dj videos that train you to be an awesome DJ like Deadmau5, sign up for our newsletter at the top right of this page.
It is sooo cool to watch that big of a dancefloor freak out when Deadmau5 drops his track “Ghosts and Stuff” after the intro. The feeling that you get when you drop a track and people freak out is unreal! The vibe is electric and the feeling is addictive. It is a very rare thing in this world to get so much from something that actually makes other people feel just as good if not better.
Its dj videos like these that make me really thankful that I took the step to DJ many years ago. I still remember BEGGING my mom to lend me the money to buy DJ gear and dj lessons… To think that even a guy like Deadmau5 started off as just a kid in his bedroom just like you and I and then used internet marketing to make money online & build his career is awesome.
I hope this inspires you as much as it inspires me. Deadmau5 is obviously having fun with his intro act, he is being paid ridiculous amounts of thousands of dollars and the dancefloor is obviously LOVING it as well! I hope that one day you get to experience this feeling that both Deadmau5 and I have felt!
I just found a killer interview that MTV did with DJ Tiesto. Tijs is preparing for this years WMC (Winter Music Conference) in Miami and tells you who to look out for this year.
Tiesto was the #1 ranked DJ in the world for years and now resides in the #3 spot. One of the best ways of discovering new music is to ask other DJs. In this video Tiesto talks about the DJs and dj bands that he is looking forward to seeing:
In this video, Sebastian Ingrosso and Dirty South, two of the world’s top producers and DJs take you into their private studio for an exclusive look at them making their new track: “Meich”.
Top DJs like Sebastian and Dirty South spend all of their time in the Studio producing music because thats how they blow up so quickly. Their songs get played on the radio and by other DJs and this is how they develop such a HUGE following! One of the keys to blowing up as a DJ is to produce your own music just like these guys are doing.
Many of you may know about the WMC (the Winter Music Confrence) but I reguarly get asked the question “where is a good festival to go check out” or “where can I go to meet other DJs and network with music industry people?”… The answer is the Winter Music Confrence.
The WMC is part educational conference with seminars and workshops, part networking with industry only poolside parties and 3/4 party with EVERY big name DJ in the world playing multiple shows at some of the best nightclubs in the world. After finding the last Steve Angello video on his incredible year I then found this video where you get to tour through the WMC with Steve… Take not that he takes a shot at Paris Hilton at the beginning of the video!
