Sometime I laugh because DJs like this were just a few years ago, learning their way around a mixer and turntables in their parent’s basements, reading How To guides on everything from mixers, recording their mixes, digital vs analog production, different pieces of DJ and audio production (while playing video games in between). Now they are some of the worlds biggest rockstars, djing all over the world and spending their days recording audio tracks in the studio!
The fact that kids can now download all of the pro audio recording and producing software onto their computers or laptops and can be up and mixing within a couple of days is incredible. I spent 6 months learning to beatmatch, almost giving up on DJing a number of times in the process.
I’m glad I stuck it out through all of those ‘how to’ guides and digital/analogue recording issues to be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. That light is what you see in this video… Mountain top villas. Fine drinks. Rocking out some great music with great Dj friends! What could be better?

This video blew me away. I had no idea these guys lived this crazy of a life. I’ve been to Ibiza and villas in the hills but have never seen a place that nice (not to mention with Eric Prydz playing on the decks!).
