New York DJ schools dubspot and Scratch DJ Academy have experienced a large increase in students (dubspot’s enrollment numbers have doubled), with many of their new students having been made redundant.
Rob Principe, the founder and chief executive of Scratch DJ Academy said, “When the going gets tough, people tend to go back to things that they are really interested in doing, whether that is to pursue something like this as a hobby or as an alternate means of income.”
So the upside to the recession is that there will be more parties and more DJs with talent. More people will be going out to escape the blues of the recession and this will learn to more opportunities for you as a DJ!!!
