10 Unreal DJ Booth Videos You Won't Ever Forget!

When I was learning how to dj there was nothing that got me more excited than watching a huge DJ rock it out to a huge dance floor of screaming fans. Standing beside, behind or in the DJ booth while a huge crowd freaked out over the DJ’s every move really inspired to become a DJ.

Even now, after I’ve been DJing for 10 year and have played tons of huge DJ gigs to thousands of people screaming their heads off, watching videos of the top DJs playing to huge crowds sends chills down my spine. Theres something about 1 man creating such a frenzy with a big crowd just by playing the music he loves that makes my heart sing!

I’m sure you are similar so I wanted to track down the best youtube videos taken from the DJ booths at some of the craziest and biggest parties in the world. You’ll see everything from a 100,000 person party in Buenos Aires, Argentina to an intimate party high up on a ski hill in the Swiss Alps Mountains.

So I set out to track down the top DJ booth videos online. If you have found a dj booth video that gets you fired up then please share it in the comments below! It would incredible if this page became a page that people passed around because it has all of the best, crazy DJ booth videos.

# 10. Casual Ski Party In The Alps

This video is pretty chill. You aren’t going to see 50,000 DJ fans freaking out on the dancefloor. But what you will see is three of the best tech house DJs in the world (Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano and Loco Dice) mixing for a smaller crowd at the very top of a ski hill at the very top of the Alps (Crans-Montana Switzerland at 2300m). If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably heard about the Island of Ibiza off the coast of Spain. For those of you that don’t know about it, it is the clubbing hot spot and DJing mecca of the world. Nighclubs and bars stay open 24 hours a day and all summer party goers fly in from every area of the world. I’ve been there and it is EVERYTHING DJs make it out to be.

The DJ booths that are loaded with the best DJ gear imaginable (8 dj turntables, 5 CDJs, rotary mixers etc) and look out over dance floors of thousands of beautiful clubbers. People go specifically to see the DJs so its a full on party! Half of the dance floor knows knows how to DJ mix and are crazy about the music!

In this video, DJ Erick Morillo rocks Pacha Ibiza. There are some crazy shots from the DJ Booth. Shots like this inspire me to help DJs like you get to DJ booths in places like Ibiza!

Becoming a successful DJ can be a simple process. There are only a few key steps that someone learning to dj must take to go from an aspiring DJ to a professional club or rave DJ.

1) Choose the right Dj Gear that will help you learn to mix quickly.
2) Learn To Beatmatch (get dj lessons)
3) Train yourself to mix
4) Put together a CD
5) Create a brand / image for yourself
6) Build a Following
7) Promote and Market yourself effectively to your following

It always amazes me how few people get these simple steps right. (Either you get it or you don’t).

Case in point… I volunteer for an agency called MusicBC which is a part of FactorMusicCanada. Its our job to decide what artists get funding from the Government of Canada for producing and marketing their music. There are sooooo many DJs out there that apply for these grants (free money from the government). Of these hundreads of DJs that apply, very few of them understand the basics of how to become a really good DJ and how the music industry works.

I’ll give you an example. One DJ was applying for a grant to help her produce (create) a song in a professional studio. Under her plan she said “Upon recieving the money I will use final cut pro to produce my album.” Final Cut Pro is movie editing software and can’t be used for audio editing.

Another example is…

Dj Training: Model After The Pros…

dj training

To learn to dj like a pro you will have to train like a pro dj. What does this mean?

First of all get the Free Dj Training video lessons by clicking here NOW!

Lets take a look at 5 of the top pro athletes in the world right now: Tiger Woods, Lebron James, Syndey Crosby, Wayne Rooney and Payton Manning. These guys are the top of their field and live their dream lives and yet they all still swear by a number of things: The first is coaching. Even the best have coaches to make their learning process easier and faster. They all have training aids such as videos. They all study other great players in history.

My point here is that if you want to be a HUGE pro DJ, follow the footsteps of the pro DJs that have already made it. There are TONS of resources out there for DJs. There are dj videos, dj manuals, dj guides, dj books, dj dvds, in person dj lessons, online dj academies and even biographies on successful DJs now and from the past.

Get out to parties, nightclubs and raves by yourself. Hang around the DJ booth and watch the DJs mixing. You’ll learn a TON. Check what dj equipment they are using. CDJs? DJ Turntables? DJ software like Ableton Live or Serato… How are they mixing? How much time do they spend looking at the crowd? What are they looking for?
